The National Institute of Design (NID) cutoff varies each year depending on a number of factors, including the number of applicants, the difficulty of the entrance exam, and the overall quality of the applicant pool. However, there are some general trends that can be observed.

For the B.Des. program, the cutoff for the general category is typically around 65-70. For the M.Des. program, the cutoff is typically around 80-90. However, the cutoff for certain disciplines, such as industrial design and communication design, can be even higher.
